I would have liked more motivation from characters in this short story but it was a wonderful taste of Jane Green, I’m sure I’ll be back for more!

Who doesn’t love a summer cowboy romance? ❤️‍🔥 This one had all the charm and heat I was hoping for — it just didn’t need to be so long. Will buckle up for another though!

Pretty spicey! 🌶️ 🌶️ .5

The Hollow Boys series is hit after hit – they just keep getting better.

I know I say this every time, but Coraline and Silas? They're my forever OTP now. I'm fully, irreversibly invested.

This final instalment is wickedly witty – razor-sharp humour laced with gut-punch emotional moments. It crams so much into a short space, yet somehow pulls it off with finesse. The ending? Actual perfection.

Rowan’s tattoo had me thinking we’d peaked in the unhinged romance department… but then nipple GPS. A masterpiece. The nicknames? Instant classics. And those rings? A++.

What started as a goofy read turned into a full-blown obsession. I’m devastated it’s over – definitely re-read worthy.

Five stars, obviously.

Okay, I thought I was ride-or-die for Sage and Rook… but Lyra and Thatcher? Absolute chaos. Absolute perfection. They stormed in, ruined me, and now live rent-free in my brain. I read this in a day—ONE DAY.

Thatcher’s backstory and development? Everything. Exactly what I needed to fully understand the man, the myth, the menace.

Lyra finally getting her happy ending after everything was everything. The cupboard scene ended me. The stalker room cemented her status as the original dark romance girlie. I stan.

I’m heartbroken it’s over but at least I have Silas.

I was feral with anticipation for Lyra and Thatcher—and somehow, this book still managed to exceed my already unhinged expectations. It delivered.

They better actually not be the ninth symphony. I think I’ll struggle to recover.

I do wish the plot had been more fleshed out—there wasn’t too much of it in this book—but the lore? Delicious. The slow-burn breadcrumbs from books one and two paid off

Unreal. Sage and Rook forever!

(Also Lyra again??? I am so excited for book three!)

This would’ve been an easy five-star read if a few moments had been handled with a touch more sensitivity.

That said, I was completely hooked—I couldn’t tear myself away, and honestly? I’m not sure I’ll ever emotionally recover from this series.

Finally, actually enemies to lovers. This book sounds like Hozier’s yell. Could not put it down!!!!!

Not a five star because of the non-consensual tattoo trope.

Briar is an incredible FMC — passionate, loving, loyal. A feral little firestorm with a soft core, and I adored her.

Her ride-or-die friendship with Lyra in the middle of all this darkness is honestly what kept me reading.
Absolutely love their bond — it made everything hit harder.

I’m actually desperate for Lyra’s book. I need to hear the world from her perspective more and the Thatcher lore is the cherry on top... 🍒

I’m realising I haven’t said much about Alistair, our MMC, and that’s probably because I’d always pick Jess. Alistair felt like a Logan in Jess clothing. Broody, yes. Hot, sure. But emotionally? Not quite the match I was hoping for Briar.

Added to the ick list: wallet chains …

Jasper and Sloane are now my favourite Chestnut Springs couple.
