This book is a real source of information about sleep. The story follows a man through his life, from his childhood to some kind of important achievment in his professionnal life. But the real main character is sleep.

My favourite part of the book was the second one : an immersion with a Malaisian tribe. If you're looking for a litterary journey, this book may interest you.

Nonetheless, I can't say I'm crazy about the writing style of the author. It's very rythmic (a little bit like in a thriller), but a bit too "American" : what I mean is that he doesn't give much attention to the character's feelings and reactions. All is about actions, and I couldn't feel close to Jacques, the main character.

A good book if you like entertainment while learning a lot about a subject. but definitely not my favourite one.
