Turn Coat by Jim Butcher

Butcher does a good job weaving story lines together, keeping the main plot of each book up front, and yet telling a bigger story that always lurks in the background. This one was entertaining.

I read the first short story in this collection about twenty years ago and I have never gotten it out of my head. I finally read the whole collection and now I will be haunted by Carver’s tales for the rest of my life. I think these are top notch.

I don’t get why this is Lewis’ favorite book he had written, but that’s because I’m an idiot. Worth reading though!
