it was good at first, with beautiful sentencing. but then, it just got so much... it's as if the author just wanted us to know that they had a huge vocabulary. also, the main character was so one dimensional and the plot could be better if the ending wasn't so washed out.

got dared to read this after finishing Unhinged. love that it was clearly satire and meant for jokes, but from a critical sense, it is kinda shit. but it was still funny, disturbing, and uncomfortable. not the worst I've read, but it was too graphic and hilarious

as an edgar allen hoe, this was a joy to read. however, my favourite stories from him, which I consider are his best work, unfortunately aren't here.

emotional, adorable, and beautiful. this book can be poetic at times and I love it. the characters were all interesting and memorable in their own way. also made me cry way too much on the plane. 5 stars because it was perfect.

WORST coho book I've been forced to read. everything sucked. ben was incredibly shallow and toxic. this book should've been put in the psychological horror category because this is not it. ben, go shag your DEAD BROTHER'S WIFE and leave.

also, even though I would love someone who tried to tell me that my flaws are beautiful, ben doing that for fallon's skin was INCREDIBLY UNSETTLING. ESPECIALLY after that horrible plot twist. it just makes his actions so messed up.
