So much action that there isn't much room for character progression, but the team dynamics and the wild threats kept me turning the page.

It's been three years since I've read this and I appreciate it a lot more now. Probably because I now know it's not a super long series and that I'm supposed to not understand everything. Definitely more excited than I was to finally continue on with this comic.

Even for a short book, the plot and character dynamics remained far too stagnant for this to be anything other than fine.

Great piece of analysis on one of my favorite directors.

We get a deeper understanding of the characters and this still has some of the best coloring in comics.

A more down to earth volume centering around the strange lives of high school superheroes

Mysterio rocks, but the change in art style gave me whiplash, the amazing friends stuff has always not lived up to core Spider-Man quality, and come on Pete, it's 2009 at this point, get a haircut.
