So okay this was such a frustrating read. I liked the story but omg was the lack of communication between Morgan and Noah annoying af. I’m Blaming Morgan for most of the lack of communication, like talk to Noah and come back with a solution together. Without spoiling things the going back and forth between them was annoying and dumb.

I was so close to dnf and giving this book a 2.5 star but I finished it and my rating went up. I like how the author handled the difficult situation and themes that were  in this book. The way the character handled that situation is so realistic to how most people in the real world would handle it.

I wished we had an epilogue to see how things are between the two characters now.

This was such an emotional read. I went in blind to this story without checking for any trigger warning which is why I almost dnf the book. I love how Kennedy Ryan writes her story and characters, I couldn’t stop listening to the audiobook. The ending was perfect and everyone got exactly what they deserved.

As someone who have seen season 1 of the show, I knew exactly what I was getting into. The storyline and drawing are amazing. One of the reason why I didn’t give volume a rating higher than 4 star is due to how dark the coloring of the volume is. They definitely could have made the drawing a little brighter but I understand how the dark coloring of it adds on to the dark, violent atmosphere of the story.

This was definitely an experience. I can confidently say I made the right decision by pairing it with the audiobook. Initially, I started reading it without the audio, and it felt boring 🥱.

The audiobook added so much depth to the story. The last three chapters were amazing, the suspense and the revelation about what happened to a certain character were completely unexpected.

The twist at the end is what elevated my rating from a 3 to a 3.5. Like wtf, I did not see that coming! My mouth literally dropped as I was reading and listening to that scene.

Can’t wait for the next volume. Their relationship was cute in this volume and I like how you can see how each of the characters are developing/ changing. Based on how this volume ended, I know the next volume is going to be strong and dramatic af.
