I couldn’t put down this cozy mystery! I was immediately drawn to the characters (especially Martin Short) and the vivid imagery made me feel like I was immersed in Stone’s Throw. I love a strong, female lead who is relatable and lovable, hence why it was so easy to follow Maudy around the park, sharing the thrilling, small-town story from her own quirky, anxiety-driven perspective. Themes include mystery, adventure, humor and love. If you’re looking for a feel-good story with a few dark and suspenseful moments, Off the Beaten Path is a great read. Looking forward to the rest of the Stone’s Throw Series!
