I'm at a loss on how to describe this book, but I'll do my best... It's a quirky, entertaining, horror romance with a shape shifting monster
informative medium-paced

Nonfiction story about the curation of the Oxford English Dictionary. And how a mentally convicted murderer played a significant role in collecting words. Interesting history.

Cute. It read more like a series of short stories than a novel. Quite formulaic but interesting. I could see this as a TV show for some reason.

Historical fiction and futuristic fiction, following the stories of seven generations of women in a family line.

I lked a lot of the story lines and wanted to dive deeper into a few of them. I wanted fo develop their stories further and draw stronger connections. A unique storyline. I just wanted more substance in the ending.
informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

Connie Chung's memoir is insightful and honest. She's a driven and forthright trailblazer with a surprising and delightful sense of humor.

I love the quote she ends the book with:
Inhale, remember to have a sense of humor, take your work seriously, don't forget to have a life and most important, don't forget to stretch your hand to others who are trying to climb on board.

Historical fiction bouncing between two time lines, one in depression-era 1920s and one in the mid 1970s. Taking place in the art world and that of Grand Central in NYC.
