I loved being able to read POV's of other character's in the book. Especially in situations that paralleled that of the main books. I thought it really helped develop their characters more.

It was very enjoyable to read. I loved the way Amy and Dan's characters were still being developed without taking away from the joy of the clue hunt we were reading about.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 68%.
The book was way too slow paced for me. I enjoyed reading it for the first 40ish% of the book. It is true science fiction, and I think that was part of the reason I could not finish the book there wasn't enough substance to draw me in, although the political workings of the people in the book was interesting to read about.

I found the book hard to get into, similar to how I felt about the Cruel Prince. There is a lot of background and world building that has to be done before you can truely immerse yourself in the story. Which caused me to leave the books for weeks at a time because I wasn't invested in it or the characters. But the last 100 pages
specifically chapter 17
really drew me in and made me glad I finished reading it.

I had a really hard time getting into this book. I didn't feel a connection to the characters and they felt under-developed to me at times for me to be immersed in the story. But the last 100 or so pages really pulled me in.

I really loved this book. Saoirse never tries to be likable, she's just herself. And i loved her for that, she does what she does because she thinks she has too and it's what she's been told and she does it out of love. I wish there was more character development in the story or more insight into how Keirdre came to be. But It's not something I would lower my rating because of.
