Powerless & Powerful. I am writing the review as one because I did a tandem read. This was my first tandem and I absolutely loved it. It just felt like it was one book, jumping among four characters. Lauren Roberts writing in these two novels was so captivating. The words put instant pictures in my mind and I can so see this being a movie one day. I cried, I laughed out loud, I was on the edge of my seat. I absolutely adored Paedyn. She’s strong, courageous, never backs down, and an all around badass! I couldn’t put it down. These will be at the top of my list for 2024 reads. I highly suggest the tandem if you haven’t read these two gems.

Katherine will always be my “read it no matter what” author. I don’t care what she says the book is about, this girl is reading it.

Of course, this one did not disappoint. I did a mixture of an ebook and audio but I just love her audiobook readings. I was lucky enough to meet Katherine in June and she talked a lot about how this was her favorite book yet. I 100% understand why. There is the perfect amount of banter and some deep feelings that surface among family members. I suggest tissues once you’ve made it halfway through. This is the perfect pick for any romcom loving reader

I absolutely devoured this book and loved every aspect of it. It was by far my favorite novella I’ve read to date.

My only regret, waiting so long to read this one. I read the first two last fall and flew through them. I’m not really sure why I put this one off so long other than life.

Things I loved in this book:
-Feyre
-Rhysand
-The Action
-The Romance
-The Banter
-The Incredible Story Building

This was the first book I’ve read by Harriet Ashford and it is also her first published novel. You would never guess that by reading it. I read this book in less than 2 days and stayed up way too late to finish it
You, with a View by Jessica Joyce

This book will forever hold a place in my heart. Joyce told a heartwarming story of love, loss, and grief. The story had playful and hilarious banter throughout and the writing had a way of emotionally attaching me to each character. I spent 95% of the book reminiscing my relationship with my own grandparents and I smiled, laughed, cried, and felt all the feels

I was hooked from page 1. I was also spooked. Even a few months after reading this, I was nervous camping in the backyard with my kids. I didn’t see the twist coming. I loved the transition between current time and past time. I loved this one!
