Captivating!
This was a great introduction to what I am sure will be a fantastic series. The story draws you in and the FMC is relatable. Already started book 2!

I BLEW through this book! Each chapter left me wanting more. I felt a connection to the characters and I cannot wait to read the next book! The only thing I would change is to make the story longer, so now I’m already reading The Other Key. I love C.A. Varian’s writing style and always find myself lost in the worlds she weaves with her words. Highly recommend this book and the series!

I’m wrecked. The roller coaster of emotions. . . I am so invested in this story. The writing immerses the reader in the world and I felt like I was there. Like I was on those battlefields. I was concerned for the welfare of the characters and have a deep seated hatred for the villains. Amazing book and series. On to ACOFAS!
