Perfect little book. If you ever find yourself consider to read the boring unnecessarily long 1Q84 by murakami, just read this instead. It's nearly a tenth of the size, will not hurt you lugging it around for two months and contains just the same amount of sweet romance and weird poetic rhythm of Japanese writing (that I've read). Also contains similar ultra detailed bits describing food. Yay
