The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake

Did not finish book. Stopped at 41%.
This book was at once too detailed and not detailed enough. I was bored despite such an exciting premise. I renewed it TWICE at the library, too.

4.5

I’m a big fan of Chloe Liese and Bergman #5 did not disappoint! I could have finished this in a day had I not been at work- it was that good. Excellent, respectful representation, as I’ve come to expect from her.

My only negative was
wanting more from Gavin’s backstory. Maybe flashbacks to Fred’s support over the years, or the reader being privy to his therapy sessions. His nonprofit is mentioned once at the start, then not again for a while. Since his personality is tied to his adolescence, that should have been more prominent.

[also don’t hate me but babies in romance do nothing for me!]
