Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

I love this book and I always will. Probably is my favorite out of all of the series, if I remember correctly. Handles tough things really well, covers topics like grief and loss, has some serious action/fight scenes, and is a really good second book.

I've loved this book since I was a kid, and it still holds up! Full of action, adventure, twists and turns. It follows a well-established plot, but is driven forward by the characters just as strongly as the events themselves. A good read for younger and older readers.
This book is absolutely wonderful, but might be a bit much for very young readers. It addresses war and the violence found in war in realistic ways, and this does include some moderately graphic descriptions of death/wounds/etc. That being said, I first read this book at the age of eleven and it didn't permanently scar me or anything.
I moved right after starting this book, and it ended up forgotten in the bottom of a box in my garage. I'd still like to get back to it someday, because I really was enjoying it, but it'll have to wait for now.
