Well this was definitely something.. 😅

I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the off campus series. Definitely didn’t expected some events at the end of it all but hell it was good.

Likable characters, chemistry, cuteness, hockey romance, i liked it.

Their met cute was hilarious. 🤯🫣😂

First half is slow paced af, but then it gets medium to fast pretty quickly 😂 and trust me, you won’t see that ending coming 😂🫣

Holy mother of God. This book. THIS BOOK!!

I haven’t had a 5 star (no doubting) read in so long 😭 it’s really hard for me because with so many books I enjoy the whole story but there’s (pretty much always) something that bugs me, as little as it can be.. A word spoken that I didn’t like, a conversation that I didn’t find interesting for the story, a deviation from the plot..

And then is this book, I was on cloud 9 reading the whole thing. I devoured it all in 48 hours, I became obsessed with this cute heartwarming story 😭❤️ What. A. Man. I can’t describe Kai Rhodes in one word because he is EVERYTHING I always expect from a male main character in a romance book, so thoughtful, so funny, so sweet, so kind, so mature, soooooo lovable. And Miller is a very likable character too, as matter of fact I think i’ve never laughed so much reading words coming from a female main character as I did with her. Oh and please don’t get me started with Max, that precious little thing is the CUTEST baby character i’ve ever read about 😭🥹

I had so much fun with this book, I specially felt so much inside me with every serious conversation with Monty, what a father. It reminded me a lot of my dad, he actually choose to be my dad too and he never EVER made me feel like I wasn’t his.

So thank you Liz for this one, it kinda melt my heart to a level I didn’t knew it was possible. ❤️‍🩹

This book was everything I needed to start the reading year right.

I’m out of words to describe exactly everything that this story made me feel. It started a bit strange because it took me a few chapters to catch up with the dual timeline but once I got it, damn i’m not lying to you (whoever you are) that I craved for more, I couldn’t get enough of it 😭 and I tried to read as slow as possible because I didn’t wanted it to end so soon but god!!! Oh and I cried like a baby through the last chapters.

Dual pov, and dual timeline.. just to let you know.
