Oh my god, I’m a mess.

Why am I crying so much right now?!?!

God, this was so beautiful!! The whole series—but specifically this book—just… my heart can’t take it 😭💖

I’m so damn happy I got my happy ending. I was ready to go to war and fight y’all if I didn’t get it, for real. I would’ve burned Bookstagram in three seconds.

I’m so happy for these beautiful characters 🥹 I’m glad I listened when people told me I didn’t need to read the Caraval series first—but that I should. 🙈 I’m so happy I chose to dive into these books 🙂‍↕️ and I’m thankful to my friends who sold this story to me so well 🤭🙂‍↕️

The whole world of Caraval + OUABH is now officially my little baby 🫶🏻
I needed this. I needed this kind of magic, this kind of world. It felt like a big hug to my younger self—the one who lived for stories like this 🫂

Okay… so many emotions flying around right now, let’s get down to business:

The plot was fantastic. This series traps you—it’s fresh, it’s intriguing, and it keeps you hungry for more. And the books? They deliver. 👏🏻

The pace is exquisite—you never feel lost or rushed.

And the writing style? Not usually my favorite (I’m not a third-person girl), but it was so well done. Hats off to the author.

So, safe to say—I loved this.
And you should definitely check it out and give it a go 🙂‍↕️

Thanks for your attention 😉

WHAT THE HELL!!!! WHAT WAS THAT ENDING OH MY GOD.

I’m brokenhearted. I’m so fucking pissed at everyone right now. And GOD—WHERE IS JACKS?!

Am I going to survive the last one? I’m so fucking scared, my heart is in shambles.

This was SO much BETTER than the first book, and oh my god—I cannot wait to read the last one. I’m devouring this series.

Plot? Delicious.
Pace? Heavenly-made.
CHEMISTRY? ON. THE. NEXT. LEVEL.
Writing? Glad to report that after four of Stephanie’s books, I’m officially used to third-person style in this series 🤭

ZERO regrets about picking up the Caraval series first 😂

You should definitely stay tuned… the next review is coming SOON.

That was so cool—oh my god.

And here I was thinking the Caraval series would be it… wow. Just wow.

I’m already so eager to read the next two!! THAT CLIFFHANGER?? Oh, Miss Garber, you did well 🙂‍↕️

The plot is really interesting, and the pacing? Amazing. I dare say it’s so much better than the previous series. The characters were intriguing, and I loved (FINALLY) getting more of Jacks!!

Evangeline is a very interesting character, and I’m slowly learning to enjoy her more and more.

Jacks… well, he’s my favorite, so I can’t say much other than I’m obsessed 😅

I haven’t been this excited for a series since Fourth Wing, so… watch me finish this in four days 🙂‍↕️

What. The. Hell. ?!?!?!?

That.
Was.
FANTASTIC!!

Now I’m so sad this is over!! Can you believe it? After almost not being able to get through the first book 😂😂 Who would’ve thought? 🤭

Caraval was such an experience—nothing like it. I needed this. I needed a break from what I always read, and this hit just right.

Let’s elaborate:

Scarlett: I need to be honest—I didn’t like her much in the first book, but she grew on me. I really saw myself in her whole “living for love” thing, and her character growth was beautiful to watch.

Donatella: I liked her free spirit, but damn she was stubborn!! Still, I enjoyed watching her get her shit together. I loved that she had her own mission and wasn’t afraid to defy everyone and everything with that fierce fire of hers.

Julian & Legend: I love how you played me 😂 So. Many. Times. The whole series had me on edge because of you two. But that kind of love—the little acts of kindness, compassion, and care… I’m starry-eyed 🥹💖

(Surprisingly) I loved the writing. The dialogue was really well done—surprisingly because I don’t usually enjoy third-person writing 🫠

We jumped from the Caraval world into the world of the Fates, which—okay, I get it—we couldn’t stay in Caraval forever. But oh, how I miss it! It was fun, it was magic, it was unlike anything! Still, the storyline with the Fates was really interesting, so I’m not complaining.

Overall: I’m happy. I’m surprised. And I’m so damn glad I didn’t give up on this series.
Now I’m so fucking ready to dive into Jacks’ world 💖

I’ll try to read Spectacular at some point—I promise!

Thanks for joining me on this journey 🤭

Now this is what I’m talking about!!

This was so much better, man! I’m happy I survived the first book and put my faith in this one 🙂‍↕️ Gladly, it turned out great 🤭

I thought I had it all figured out… BUT NO! Oh, I feel betrayed by my own brain, to be honest—because I knew, I knew who Legend was, but damn, he tricked me so bad 😡😂

My mind was working overtime for this book. I couldn’t even sleep until I finished it. The twists, the turns, the revelations—THE DRAMA!! 🙂‍↕️😮‍💨

I enjoyed it. That’s pretty much it.

I’m happy, and so eager to know MORE.

And don’t even get me started on Jacks—FINALLY JACKS! 🤭 He’s the whole reason I’m reading this series 😂 I cannot wait to get to know him better, and I definitely can’t wait to start OUABH 🫶🏻

Stay tuned 😉

This was something…

I mean, it wasn’t good, but it wasn’t that bad either 😅

The world of Caraval is really interesting, and that was the main thing that made me want to finish the book. It’s like The Hunger Games coded—but without the deaths 😂

I’ve been told this was the worst of the three, but that it gets better. So, that’s what I’m hoping now 😂

The setting was pretty cool—I really liked the game and the mystery of not knowing what was real and what wasn’t. It kept me interested enough.

The characters… could’ve been worse, so I’m not complaining that much. Scarlett made me angry for half the book, but by the end, she was fine.

I’m not a huge fan, but I’ll keep reading the series—mainly because I really want to read Once Upon a Broken Heart and everyone says I should read these first. So yeah, I hope I’ll meet Jacks soon 😂

Oh. My. GOD. I am ON MY KNEES!!

What the actual hell?!????

Where. WHERE do I sign up for a Jack Smith-Turner in my life??!

Okay. Honestly? I might have to reread The Love Hypothesis, because I remember being obsessed with Adam Carlsen three years ago, but now? Now I’m convinced Jack Smith-Turner would eat him for breakfast.

Ali Hazelwood, oh mother… no one does STEM romance like you. I can be completely clueless about this world every other day of my life, but when I crack open one of your books, better believe I live in that character coat 🙂‍↕️

Elsie. My sweet, strong, beautifully messy Elsie. As a retired people-pleaser myself, I felt every beat of her struggle.. that brutal, too-familiar ache of putting everyone else first, of forgetting to love yourself. Ali captured it so well it hurt, and I felt seen, deep down to the core 😭

Then there’s Jack. Confident. Thoughtful. Kind. Super intelligent. Hot as sin. But the thing that absolutely owned me? His brutal, unshakable honesty. In a world where sincerity is rare, this man came charging in and stole my heart on page one 🙂‍↕️

Their romance? Pure gold. The chemistry crackles. The spice sizzles. Everything just clicked.

After drowning in so many fantasy worlds, this was exactly the breath of fresh air I needed 😂🤭

 Oh my god.

Kingfisher???

I ate this, the whole thing.

The story, the characters, the action, the romance, the magic, the twists.. holy mother.

I would literally sell my soul, my sanity, and possibly yours too if it meant giving Fisher even a sliver of peace. He owns me now, I ADORED him.
And Saeris? Girl held her ground. Sharp, strong, and surprisingly tender. She carried her own weight and then some.

Their chemistry? Explosive. I mean, I actually lost my mind when they finally gave in. I had to put the book down and breathe. Twice.

Now.. the world-building is where we were a bit lost. We were thrown without enough context into this huge war and honestly it was actually hard for my brain to understand the whole quicksilver/alchemist/magic for like.. half the book.

It was a bit chaotic, but it was good overall.

The concept? Incredible.
The execution? Rough around the edges, but it worked.

And now? I need the sequel like yesterday. I need answers, I need more Fisher 🤭
