Some people didn't like the idea of an imaginary friend and a human person falling in love, however I read the book for the romance. If I wanted to read about real life love I would have picked up the newspaper.

I see a lot of people not liking this book by Philippa Gregory. For me it is odd because no I didn't like the main character (she was a pain) but the story was interesting and entertaining. For me anyway. I knew not to expect it to be anything more then what it was. A fictional story. It was a wee bit twisted in some ways.
