This was fun!! The Emperor’s Soul is genuinely one of the most beautiful short stories I’ve ever read. Loved getting more Kelsier, especially loved Edgedancer with Lift. Can’t wait to jump back into Stormlight for my next stop in my Cosmere journey.

American Fiction was one of my favorite movies of 2023 so when I found out it was an adaptation I knew I had to get my hands on this. I thought it was brilliant.

The relationship between Kaladin and Dalinar is everything to me. “You are what I’ve been looking for.”

This is genuinely one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. What a solid opener to a series. Journey before destination. Dalinar Kholin is one of my favorite characters in fiction.

Such a damn shame Ned is no longer with us. Wish I had read this years ago.

Listened to all of this in two sittings because I just couldn’t stop. Holy shit my entire experience growing up Mormon and then leaving as an adult and then filling my spiritual needs with substances and then looking for something more/better for actual enlightenment got validated with a slice of comedy. Pete fucking Holmes. I need to pick up a hardcover copy of this I loved it so much.

Honestly this was solid as hell. Absurdism over nihilism any day. Plus that ending making fun of main character troupes was perfect
