Sweet and comfortable. Coming from a voice acting background, Baldree excels most in the humanity (orcity? succubusity?) in his dialogue. The plot was a bit meandering at times, but as an outsider of the cozy genre, I could easily see that being a feature rather than a bug. Gay people real.
Haunting, thought provoking, and beautiful. The format of this book worked so well for me as a reader and really made the piece feel like poetry. A few of her tangents could be meandering, but they largely added a lot to the overarching narrative. I’ll be thinking about this book for a while.
