Loved this Book :)

Thought that the idea for this book was one of a kind and amazing. Iloved the story line and what happened with Orion was completely unexpected! I can't wait for the next one so we can see the progress of Amy and Elder! Hopefully they find a way so that she can see her family again and not just through the ice! I liked how the POV kept changing between Elder and Amy so that we knew what was going through their head and why they were doing things etc!
Great great great Job Beth!!

I liked this book!
But it was a bit too weird in a what-the-heck-is-going-on here kind of way. I will read the next one in the series tho to give it a shot :)

I really enjoyed this book! I think it is going to be a great series :)

Joanne is a Warden who is able to control the weather, specifically two elements -water and wind. She is on the run from the World Warden Council because of murder that she is accused of. She is on a cross-country adventure to find the only person who can help her - Lewis who has been in hiding for 7 years after because he is the most powerful Warden ever and the Council want him to be their lab rat. Along the way Joanne meets the amazingly-handsome David (who somewhat seems to be stalking her) and entrusts the help of a few friends. But she is also chased by a huge storm and by someone who is trying to kill her when ever they get the chance.

So the highs and lows of this book!

Highs -

Loved Rachels writing style - i am a avid fan of her work

The dijinns - love them

The secret science lessons that Rachel gave us - about the weather and meterology. It was a bit confusing at first but then i got my head around the facts :)

The ending! WOWZOR, complete suprise, i did not see that coming. It just makes me want to read the next book even faster and gives me hope for David and Jo yet!

Lows -

It frustrated me at first that for a good part of the start i was highly confused and didn't know what was going on. But, this made me want to read faster and for longer!

I think there were too many flashbacks for the book. But it seemed to work well :)

I would of liked to have met or got to know Lewis a bit more in the story - since the book was about finding him.

Overall i cannot wait to start the next book! I'm really excited about what is going to happen next and where the story will go!
Inescapable: The Premonition Series by Amy A. Bartol

I happen to stumble on this book when i was on Amazon , because I saw this book in the "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" window.

First off- i have to say WOW. This book is amazing and i am so suprised i have not heard of Amy Bartol before! I am definatly going to read her books more from now on! I also will be reading the next book in the series!

Going into this book i was like "oh no, its another vampire book - i just hope they don't sparkle!" Not that i don't like vampire books - i'm just a bit ovr them at the moment. Boy was i suprised when Evie (the main character - a 17 year old who is just started college) started to piece together what Reed (her on-off (much to my frustration and annoyance) love interest) and herself is!

I love that this is set at college - i have noticed there is a huge market for books about people who are going to college, at college, or are just leaving college! There are either YA books about 14-17 year olds (Yes Evie is 17 but she is at college and not at high school!) then there is a big gap until books aboit 25+ year olds! So there is not much in between which is a major disapointment!

I love the major characters Evie, Russell and Reed then the minor ones Buns, Brownie and Zephyer. I though Freddie was sweet - now not so much (if you haven't read the book you will find out and if you have read it you will no why!) I'm extremely torn about which side i am on - Reed or Russell, but i think at the end of the day i will choose Reed.

One thing that got to me is the HUGE twist at the end! I cannot wait for the next book because i want to know what happens with teh whole Russell/Evie or Reed/Evie drama.

I HIGHLY reccommend this book as i loved it and so will you! Good job Amy!
