La Métamorphose by Franz Kafka

I like it. The style is different and I confess I did learn a few words. Though, if I understood it right (but yet, I am pretty sure there is no way to understand this book right because there are as many ways to understand it as there are readers), it is profoundly depressing but yet makes you understand a better way to be with others.
A must read. And it needs to be read multiple times during a lifetime.

What an odyssey ! This book is grand. It is going right into my top 2 favorite books ever. The first one being Moby Dick.
The writing is astonishing. The story is great and the characters, all the characters are complexed and well written. I was surprised how the author managed to insert such deep thoughts about humanity, the soul, religion, Good and Bad, what makes a human a human being,....
Essential to read.

Haters gonna hate but..... How boring ? I actually wonder how they could so many good movies out of it.
The writing style is perfect tho. But the story is perfect to sleep at night.
As about the characters, the monster is the only interesting one. The others look like they were coming from Twilight. Frankenstein made me thought about Bella at the beginning of the second book. Gosh I wanted to slap him SO MUCH.
Anyway, pass your way unless you want to read a boring classic.

Brilliant. All I can say is that this book is brilliant. A masterpiece. If you love traditional books, don't bother. This one loves to break every single rule of writing you know. Probably my favorite book of 2017 and definitly going in my top 5 of all time favorites.
Did I mention it is brilliant?
And yes, it also explains Blade Runner 2049.

This book is poetic. I know this might sound bizarrr as we are talling about zombies and the end of humanity but it is so beautifully written it IS poetic.
Characters are great and I found it easy to connect with them. It is a great prequel. It is not an essential reading to understand Warm Bodies but if you liked it, then read this one. It gives so highlights on how was the world before Warm Bodies.
The most amazing thing in this book is that, despite of all despair, violence and darkness, there is a detail that reminds that there is hope. It is only a tiny candle in a huge ocean of darkness but it is here.

What an end!!! The writing style is still on point. I am a bit sadened by the way a few characters ended their journey but hey it is always the case in series right?
In all a very good series. It is never boring, characters are well written and the world created by Carey is awesome.

It was so boring. The story is way to cheesy for my taste and doesn't goes deep in the most important parts of Achille's legend. To be honest, it felt like a teenage book about love more than anything else.

Not scary at all but still very interesting. It is an accurate analysis of our current world. I loved the twist in the end. I wasn't expecting this at all!!!
