I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb
5.0
This book was amazing! the sheer size of it was intimidating and I admit that about 80 pages in, I.was ready to quit. At the behest of previous readers I continued-- and I'm glad I did. This book lulls you in and makes you want to keep reading because you cannot...CANNOT get the Birdsey twins out of your head. You'll think about them when your not reading because you want to know what happens next.
It's a creeper but an extremely worthwhile read.
However, for as much work as Lamb put into this story, why he'd ruin it with the last chapter is beyond me. It's too tidy and has a sort of Hollywood ending that I didn't care for. Otherwise, a great book.

This was a great fable about following your dreams in spite of adversity. It was simple tale and I'm not sure how much was lost in translation but I did'nt find it engaging. I did, however, close the book with great motivational quotes and renewed drive.

Meh. It felt like a watered down version of Outliers. What a letdown.
