I adore Miranda and her sense of humor. The book is largely about setting boundaries, relinquishing one's grip on things that can't be controlled, and finding peace and happiness in the small things. Much of the advice and anecdotes begin to sound the same, and the book could have been shorter, but I still enjoyed it because it was written with Miranda charm. I loved the end, IYKYK.

Not much is happening except for Lois' cyclical indecision about who she is and what she wants. I usually love a meandering plot, but I don't like the characters very much.
