The writing was spectacular and I was completely entranced by it. The first 1/3 of the boom had me hooked like no other romance story. However, the last 1/3 of the book fell flat for me.

Saw this on BookTok as being one of the books that had a lot of twists and turns that you couldn’t see coming. This book was very similar to all books of these kinds. There was turns but you could see them coming from a mile away. It was a good romp but very subpar as far as these kinds of books go. I wouldn’t categorize it as a physhcologigcal thriller, it’s just an easy-read murder mystery.
