This book had me on the edge of my seat! An incredibly intriguing beginning that sucks you in, and the action doesn't stop. It's told from multiple POVs, and it hops around frequently on two different timelines. If that's no your thing, you may not enjoy it.

I struggled whether or not to make this a four or five star read. I enjoyed this ride so much! Many of the characters weren't trustworthy to me and because of that I found myself in a game of clue, which is always a delight! I gasped out loud at the ending, and the short chapters kept me wanting more and more! For fans of The Silent Patient, there's a big Easter egg in there as well, an awesome surprise! Overall, LOVE LOVE LOVED it.

What a beautiful and adorable story! This was a perfect summer read! The descriptions of Florence were so transporting. The characters were super loveable, and the mystery was a little obvious but not in an annoying way! It was a fun ride watching the characters figure it out and put the pieces together. Lastly, and most importantly to me, the way Welch writes about Lina's grief over her mother was impactful and beautiful. This is probably my new favorite YA romance!
