This book was such a delight to read! The intertwined stories of Elisa and her granddaughter Marisol is makes a beautiful story. I loved the themes behind patriotism, sacrifice for something you believe in, and love. Highly recommend!

Friends, this book! We live in a world that is constantly asking us to make decisions and decision fatigue is no joke. This book was such an encouragement! We see all throughout scripture people who didn’t know God’s greater plan and had no idea how the ending would all work out but they did the next right thing in obedience. That’s all that God asks of us. This book is reread material! Can’t recommend enough!
