I expected the ending because it was literally in the title but I still bawled like a baby. Solid book!!!

I had a hard time getting into this one, but once I did I couldn’t put it down. I HATED Julian in the beginning, but of course I love him now. I was not expecting Aidan to be a fucking loser, but alas he was. I hope Jeannie is thriving.
Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

Well…… I hated it. I found this book and the writing to be INSUFFERABLE. The amount of times that Bee says “he’s just tolerating me, we are enemies, he doesn’t even like me, he’s probably just being nice“ was brain melting, she was over the top delusional. He literally tells her multiple times that he does not hate her, and also puts his dick In her multiple times, and tells her you’re really everything I could ever want???? HELLO!!!… I predicted who her a little Twitter friend was five pages in, and I also predicted that Guy was the antagonist a quarter of the way through the book. And OH MY GOD the science puns and references (I love a stem girly) was way over the top! It’s just a loop of her weird obsession with marie curie and bad sex scenes… I didn’t even read the epilogue because I wasn’t going to subject myself to another 10 pages of THAT.

I loved this book, it was raw and very very sad. Beautifully written about realistic grief.
