Das Buch „Der Thron der Magier“ von Juniper Phaeton ist ein Fantasy-Roman mit viel Action, in dem es nie langweilig wird. Wo viele Fantasy-Romane langsam anfangen, damit man als Leser, alle Informationen über Welt bekommt, wirft einen Juniper Phaeton mitten ins Geschehen, so dass es nie langweilig wird.
Ich persönlich aber bevorzuge es, wenn man mehr Zeit mit den Charakteren verbringt, um sie besser kennenzulernen, was aber das ist schwierig, wenn man 6 verschiedene Perspektiven hat. Wem es aber lieber ist, dass das Buch mehr Action hat, dem kann ich das Buch nur empfehlen.

I love how T.Kingfisher managed to write a whimsical story that is dark and funny. This reimagining of Sleeping Beauty has its own twists and turns and is just perfect.

I just loved our main character Toadling, because she was just so different and that made her quite refreshing to have as a main character.

Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who likes weird little books, because that’s what Thornhedge is. But if that‘s not for you, then you won‘t like this book.

The first part of the book felt a bit confusing and rushed, with a lot of action that had little impact on me, because I didn‘t know any of the characters yet. 
The second part was better, but I still didn‘t feel attached to any character, but that was more of a me problem.
I would recomend this book to anyone who likes slow burn romances and is a Reylo fan, because that is what you get from this book.
