The narrator was weak, the voice used for her brother was very had to listen to and she read her text messages like she was a new reader making both her and her brother seem less than smart.

The story was okay but I found the entire family to be unlikable, Ash included. A little editing and a better narrator could have easily made this a 4 star listen.
The House Across the Street: Totally gripping psychological suspense packed with twists by Jill Childs

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
Between the narrator's voice, the fmc making excuses to check in on her best friend, and the lack of any movement, I just couldn't keep going. This was my second attempt so I'll just DNF this one.
