What They Always Tell Us by Martin Wilson
4.0
Welcome to this book review !
This book was super profound, I loved the writing style ! I wanted to read a more psychological book for a while and I heard about this book. People told me it was good or seemed good, so I brought it and I am really happy I did buy it ! It was sad, but happy, I loved the self discovery in this book and the fact that you could see a brotherly bond being repared. I loved seeing Alex ( the younger brother who tried to commit suicide), discover more about himself, accepting himself and how much he hated the pity he could see in everyones eyes since the incident. When I fist started reading it, I thought that James(older brother) was such a douche, like really you don't tell someone, just after they tried to commit suicide, about how stupid they are and a "nutcase"... But as the story advanced you could see everything behind it, the blurry lines in the story became thicker and clearer, making you understand the action each character made. It was overall an amazing book, I loved it and plan on reading it a couple of times again, in the future !
I totally recommend this book !

Welcome to this book review!
I love to read mangas so when I heard that this manga was about/inspired by red little ridding hood it got me hooked. I expected almlost nothing from it but, goodness and fun. It was all of those thing, in a way, while you don't know much about what is happening it is a totally new way to view that childhood story. My heart was trown to the wolves (see the word game hahah) and mixed up. I must say that it DID take me a while to get used to the idea of the story line where there is more than one possibility as to who can become the little red ridding hood and why. It wasn't bad but, it didn't "catch" me in a way. My curiosity will make me continue this quartet since I own it and it is entertaining, somehow, though throughout the whole volume it made me feel like I was missing on something because I didn't have all the information I felt I needed, hopefully you will find yourself content with how much knowledge you are given throughout the story. It is a fun time if you don't question it too much, so do give it a go ! In the end it's not worth your time unless you want something short to read on the go, but you will find them catching your eye with the beautiful artwork and colorfull characters !
Thank you for reading !

Welcome to this book review!
Hello dear readers of this series, while it wasn't the best manga ever, that I read in my life, it did fill my need to know more about the backround story of this perticular story. I loved the artwork once again that captivated me way more than the story itself, which is a shame really. I liked the way the new characters came so "soflty" into the story line! They were all interesting which was pretty surprising though once again I just wanted so much more deept from it, that it just came across to me as shallow and as a kind of "black hole". I will obviously read the next one and fill my needs and hopes for this quartet !
In hopes you liked it more than me, see you next time.

Welcome to this book review !
Well ooh well just when you think you can not possibly be more dissapointed in the lack of information you're given, this book comes in. Once again I was left speechless for the artwork, it was simply breath taking but, this book felt like a filler most of the story was un-related or un-usefull, in my opinion, to the "point" of the story. It was interesting but not my thing unfortunately, though I will finish this quartet as there is some part of the actuall main story line that I simply adore. In hopes it filled you with joy, and exitement.

This One Summer by Mariko Tamaki

Welcome to this book review !
This is the story of a young girl and her "coming of age" kind of time. She spends this summer in Awago a beach place-ishh in the summer like every other summer. She has a younger friend there gets a crush on a *cough* douchebag *cough*, though the story nerver really says it word per word you can tell from the imagery and building of the story line. You discover the problems of everyone some of which she discovers and other she won't know until much later on. It wasn't bad, the story had a certain dept to it though kind of vague, lets just say you HAVE to assume a lot of things about this way she explains and puts the story. It made me sad and it is in itself depressing, in a way there is no real "joy" in it as it is dark and the art doesn't help, like at all. The art didn't interest me much in this graphic novel it left me indifferent to the story to a point where I didn't spend much time on it, depply examinating and watching it. There is nothing touching or emotionally made to touch you deeply that worked in this book for me, it was superficial emotions and I couldn't relate to the emotion of the characters as we didn't spend much time on the events. For me thus book would have been better if they had spend more time on an actual event making us deeply connected more than on so many things at the same time that left us, in the end, never really affected by the emotions they wanted us to feel.
With hopes you liked it a lot more than me.

Welcome to this book review !
OMG, FREAKING FINALLY!!!! I got what I wanted, the ending of this quartet and all the information that finally made everything fall into place for me. I loved the final I must say it was truly captivating and the story line finally caught up to the aweasome artwork ! It was bloody time, but my heart was sad that it took so long for it to make sense/be captivating. It wasn't worth all the time that I put into finding each of these book, but in the end I can't really say that I am dissapointed since my artistic side was filled with joy and still is each time I look at the details and the beauty of the art. Hopefully this also made you like the series a little more !
