I am so so so sad. I have no more books left into this series. This book was the chunkiest of all 3 books. This is one of the best series I have read in a long time.
In this book we follow brother number 3 Cal and the lovely Alana. Alana as with the other ladies in Thai series she is strong and has gumption in spades, however she has a weakness. Her love of Cal. However, the love that they have is what drives Cal to go to rehab and become a reformed alcoholic. Cal does everything he can possibly to do support Alana and her beautiful little girl Cami. The relationship that Cal and Cani has is completely unconditional and just divine and an honour to watch.
In this final book we wrap up the inheritance story and the impact this has on family. The families that have evolved in these books are just about the most amazing families. The way they love and support each other. The gorgeous friendships between the strong and fantastic women who pull their men into line and bring out the best in them.

This was a pleasure to read. As with the first three, writing was stunning. It was a heart-warming read, like slipping back into that comfortable pair of slippers you love. It reminded my why I loved the first three book. The characters, the setting, the banter, the spice and of course the relationships of the inner circle. It was a great to have a nice short book sandwiched between the chunkers that are book 3 and 5. It just left me happy.

I adored these characters in book one, however I fell in love with them from the get go. The leading lady with her strength as a single mum doing it alone (with her bestie) raising a very sassy son. Then there is Troy, who makes me swoon, feel for him and fall in love with him. The way in which he wants to do all he can to make her happy and their son. We are there for the roller-coaster that is their relationship. The testing of trust, honesty and love. This has a parallel time line as book one and does include across over of some scenes from that book. I cried, laughed and overall really enjoyed this book. Possibly more than the first one.

This is my first read by Kate Stewart at the recommendation of Bex. I can not thank her highly enough. What an absolute joy this book was.
If you like Elle Kennedy, sports romance this is for you. This is a friend's to lovers book at its best. Theo and Laney have both had varied experiences of love and a rocky one at that. Through building their friendship, they help and support each other as outsiders of college social spectrum. With the gorgeous supporting characters, Theo and Laney discover who they are and what they want out of life and how they can help each other to get it. They bring out the best in each other and learn more about what makes them who they are. I love that this is a different take on your typical sports romance. It had me laughing, crying and caring about the characters. It was a pleasure watching their development as the story progressed.
I will definitely be adding more Kate Stewart to my tbr.

This was just as good as Indigo Ridge. We are back with the gloriously beautiful family that is the Edens and the charming town of Quincy. We are with Know Eden chef at The Eloise Inn and new comer (and housekeeper at the Elouise) Memphis and her 2 month old boy Drake. It isn't exactly love at first sight but it might as well be. We watch their romance Blossom and flourish as they get to know each other's past and secrets. There is a little bit of crime and suspense involved with a touch of deception. This time around there is no 3rd act breakup as the crime takes its place. You can't help but fall in love with knox and watch how he supports and brings out the best in a very insecure Memphis. I look forward to book 3 and retuning to Quincy.

I didn't think this book could be better than 'It happened one summer', but Tessa Bailey out did herself. I fell in love with this book from the prologue. Fox and Hannah were loveable and flawed in the best ways. We follow them as they learn about who they are, what they want and find their confidence. Hannah is trying to be 'the leading lady'of her own life, whilst Fox is coming to terms with the fact that he might be breaking ' The playboy' tag his had since a teenager. All of which in the beautiful backdrop that is Westport. This friends to lovers story brings back all the characters we love from book one and supports our two main characters in their development and slow burn romance. Family, friendship, identity, romance and music are all extremely in a truly uplifting and brilliantly writen book.

Well, what a ride. I don't even know where to start. Everything I felt in The shadow of fire I felt in this book. It had me hooked from the start, and I didn't want to put it down. Yes, the male main characters are a major part of the book, as is the magic. But what really carries this book ( apart from the glorious writing) is the strong and confident female characters. No damsels in distress needing a man to protect them. These women have got this. Yes, they have their men and their relationships, and they males are very much touch her and die, but these women can hold their own.
Yet again, another great book.
