I went into this blind, I had no idea what it was about, where it was set, nothing. I was asked to join and do this as a buddy read. I loved the cover and said yes!!!!
I am so glad I said yes. I really enjoyed this book. It was a small town, good boy v bad boy, touch her and die, second chance romance with a dash of enemies to lovers. It didn't shy away from a trigger of DV either, it kind of slaps you in the face from the get go and is referenced throughout.
I loved that all the characters had flaws and these were ectually bought to the forefront and more of a focus than the good qualities. However, these were shining through as the book progressed. As the book progressed as did the

Sit, stay, love is a fun rom-com with all the things you need to make you feel good. A hot movie star, best friends to Lovers, great banter and let's face it who doesn't love animals thrown in the mix. I laughed, I cried and I yelled at the characters. These characters were full rounded, they were not perfect ,but the were believable and loveable. Once I got to know them, (which thanks to great writing didn't take long)I cared what happened and what choices they made. I wanted that happy ending for everyone. I finished this book with a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart. I give this a solid 4.5/5
