felt really repetitive at times — maybe if i was a christian and clueless about how missions usually hurt  communities it would have been a better read. i do not agree with a lot of what was said, and  i wish he had actual surveys and papers we could refer to for further reading. i am sorry but only his word is not enough. 

also, it does not address the fact that many international missions try to eradicate the local community, which is a *big* factor in why this type of charity is toxic.
