Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

i’ve listened its audiobook while going to school when the sun had not risen yet, cleaning up my room, taking walks in the warm afternoons, brushing my teeth with the taste of mint in my mounts, and while doing so many other mundane things and i am so glad for it. honestly, in the point i am now, i am not sure if i would finish the book if i was reading a paperback, mostly because i already knew the story, but also because of some slow paced parts that didn’t interest me enough to keep me engaged reading. overall i enjoyed it and i look forward to read more books from jane austen.

there were this little things i didn’t like but i don’t really want to write a negative review

i just want to say that i love when a writer makes a character love photography and i enjoyed deeply lucy’s descriptions of the photos she took. i don’t know, they just felt heartwarming.

i enjoyed the first half more than the second one, but maybe it is only because i was reading the 2nd part while i had a toothache

sooooooo…. the first half was great and the writing wad so delicate that i thought i would become one of my favorite books but well, it didn’t really happen. towards the middle it stopped to be as interesting and some parts seemed to be longer than they should be. i’m still glad i read it tho.

maybe i would have liked it *way* more if i haven’t put expectations on it but i can see why someone would have it as their favorite book. it just didn’t work for me

that’s the second time i read this — first, for curiosity on summer and now for school — and the experience was better; but still, not really my thing. The narration exceptionally portrays a teenager boy but the repetitiveness tired me, which made me not able enjoy it. i really like the book’s subtlety, holden’s character development, and open end, but that’s pretty much all.

when i read this collection i felt as if a was in a sanctuary for nature while a huge bird wrapped its soft feathers around me. i just love how she starts describing an mundane situation that ends up leading to an reflection about life and death and God.
