So vulgar and gory I really wasn’t expecting it. Found myself visibly cringing while reading yet couldn’t put the book down. It was interestingly morbid yet lighthearted at the same time. I wasn’t obsessed or anything and honestly think it was a bit overhyped but a fine book nonetheless. I don’t know how people thought it was funny, but that’s okay

So cutesy. Truly enjoyed the book. It made me giddy, happy, frustrated and sad all at the same time. It was a light read that I had a great time with.

Fabulous! Had lots of cliff hangers and unknown situations but enough clues and hints were given that you’d anticipate an event  but then be completely wrong. Enjoyed it.

Had already watched the show before reading the book. Loved being able to see the scenes in my head as they lined up with the book. A hard read at certain points because you really just wanna yell at Marianne and Connell through the pages bc they’re being idiots. But overall, enjoyed it. Lack of quotation marks and non linear timeline were a bit frustrating but I’ll live. Weird love-hate feeling while reading. Extremely melancholy yet also filled with love.

This book was just so slow and boring. I had to force myself to read it. I mean, it got good like 3/4 of the way in but i don't understand the hype honestly
