this was intense! if you want something angsty with a lot of wild turns, this book is a solid read

why not more stars? it's all jake's fault. he made some really questionable and unhinged choices that didn't sit right with me, especially when it came to his handling of conor's ptsd. 3 stars purely bc it was written well

another great book from EH 💞 i really enjoyed this!

only reason it wasn’t a perfect 5 stars is that maybe i really disliked the miscommunication (i feel like an honest adult conversation could have cleared things up sooner)

so, conflicted thoughts.. without being able to connect with elsie, i was never truly invested in the story. not to mention i couldn't feel any chemistry between her and jack, and it all made for a rather lackluster read by the end

such a bittersweet goodbye! this was a great ending to the series that has such a special place in my heart 🥹❤️‍🩹 beau eaton is THE MAN and seeing his possessiveness turn from fake to real had me kicking my feet gigglingggg. plus bailey is hilarious!! so witty and refreshingly unfiltered
