This book is fun and easy to read — the story moves quickly, and I really enjoyed the use of the girls’ current funds as a reminder of their position throughout the book. The ending was unsatisfactory, but in a way that made sense because the characters weren’t satisfied at the end of the story. Overall it works as a book, and was enjoyable to get through!

This is a book I sobbed through. I had to put it down on multiple occasions to process the way I was thinking about my own grief and loss, because the writing meant I had to. Every feeling Zauner wrote about popped off the page, and it felt like I could live in a lot of these moments as she described them. Fully recommend, but be prepared to cry.
