This really lived up to the hype. I loved the writing and the multiple character focuses were so well incorporated. The way the paragraphs were broken up worked so well for me. The story itself is just phenomenal and how everything intertwines. Although this has some harder content, it always seemed to be countered with the most compassionate, warm, and often times kick-ass followup. This is also the perfect book for anyone who loves food and/or music.

I think I have a love/hate relationship with romance because I get annoyed so easily. But I really loved the storyline in this even if it was without the romance.

I struggled a bit in the first half with so many names, so I do wish there was a key. But this book really is great about being straightforward and is well written. I hope that many more people read it to gain better knowledge of the history of Palestine.

This was okay. I think I’m not a fan of regency romance whatsoever. Personally the dialogue was too much as it felt like filler instead of focusing on an actual story. The romance itself was pretty cute and I did enjoy that. Just felt overall this was middle of the road for me.

I FLEW through this book in about a day and I honestly still can’t believe that. The people next in line for this Livby hold will probably appreciate that. Clearly I couldn’t put this down. Now I’m going to go and probably have nightmares but it was worth it!
