I really liked this book. The main character, April, really got on my nerves because at first she seemed like this super nice, very in denial type person. Couldn’t catch the vibes around here then it started to make sense.
There was a very specific point in the book where I thought I had it all figured out L O L as always there’s a twist at the end that I definitely got wrong.
It’s also very interesting to see how different everyone’s POV is because from April’s POV I didn’t like Julie at all. Once we got Julie’s POV everything changed for me.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.
I just wasn’t getting pulled into the book and it was boring. Plus I didn’t really understand what was going on and all the characters confused me. Idk it just wasn’t for me.

I liked the book, but I have definitely read better murder mysteries. The main character is an undercover FBI agent but doesn’t sound very serious at all. It felt more like a very young adult trying to solve a crime.

Oh my gosh, there is a reason I will read every book by Freida. She is so good with the fast faced mystery/thrillers. The main character, Nora, is a very intelligent woman. She is a surgeon. Her father is also a well known serial killer. I feel like she worried a lot about being like him (but could be a tad bit like him) I had my suspicions about certain characters or how this was going to play out, but I was WAY off. I really didn’t see that coming.

At first I have to say I almost DNF’d but I kept at it and it started to pick up. It got more interesting once Morgan was actually given a chance to help investigate. There were times the writing itself was a little wonky… I caught a couple of misspellings which isn’t a deal breaker, but some times the way a sentence was written really threw me off and I’d have to read it multiple times lol. Overall, it was a good story and I really enjoyed the actual investigation pieces of it. I wish we got more info about the first murders. I have questions about that still.

Since I don’t have family on here, I’ll say a little more than I would on IG lol

Y’all this book is flaming hot. It’s the first book I have read with a polyamorous relationship so that was interesting. I probably didn’t even word it right that’s how new it is to me! Haha
The men Ava meet are polar opposite best friends. Roman is a sweet teddy bear. Logan is a very serious, but protective guy. He’s an ass. I’ll just say it, but I grew to like him.
I really enjoyed this fast paced story and not once was I bored. It really kept me engaged. I wish Little Greenfield was a real place because I would visit in a heartbeat. The people are so kind AND accepting of their new relationship. It was nice to read a judgement free book (minus the dickwad ex boyfriend. He sucks.) overall, I really liked this book! I’m also so grateful to an ARC reader. This book releases February 1st!!
