I wanted to love this story so badly, but there was just something missing. Telling the story from Alex's perspective (a child) doesn't allow us to be fully immersed into what is truly happening with the women in this story. I think if the story was told from the Aunt's side and showed more of that feminine rage it would hit like it should. Overall it was still a good story and if she made a second one would most likely read it to see if she gives us the other perspective.

It was a cute witchy romance! Very low on the spice level in my opinion, they don’t even kiss until halfway through the book and they skip over the money scenes lol But if you’re needing a cute, short palette cleanser this could work for you!
