When I first started this a year ago I thought it was a good book of prose to read every now and then and not in a few sittings. Now that it’s been a year and a half I still believe so. After picking it up as an e-book I felt refreshed and able to turn the pages, but towards the 80% completion I was feeling the drag I felt. It felt like a disrespect to the book, but it’s a book that shows the flaw of book borrowing over owning and not many books do that for me.

How was it going to be the one I catch up on and the best cliff hanger while the next volume is 9 weeks out in the Libby queue. Ahhhhh

Reading the entire thing at 2am while listening to drama tube and doom scrolling and finishing it all at 4:58am has to be THE experience. I loved it in all it’s short and sweetness.

I took a bit longer, but now I want to watch the film. I felt this was a good novel to have one based on.

A good listen. It kept me interested for the most part.
