well, that was pretty boring and as a civil engineer it kinda made me disappointed for being shit on, bc yes most of us will not work in an environmental company, stop shaming.

well, i'm heartbroken.

i think this quote by grrm sums it up for me - "we are only human, and the gods have fashioned us for love. that is our great glory, and our great tragedy."

i'd like to thank myself and my bf for the two spoilers that could've but didn't ruin the ending.

i still cried like a baby and i feel empty inside. 10/10 would recommend.

apolo u can rot in hell.

i admit, i took a long time to finish this book, not bc it wasn't interesting but life. i don't think it lives up the first two but it was still pretty solid.

i'm confused how there's supposed to be two other books after this. it ends on a semi open ending but still, why?

it's a 3.5 book, again a solid book, just not mind-blowing.

even though it took me too long to read such an anticipated book (to me), i can't for the life of me give it lower than 4 stars.

nesta is me, i am nesta. simple. she was infuriating at times but also, oh so relatable.

listen, don't get me wrong, i love spice just as much as the next girl but jesus fucking christ, it felt like i went on ao3 and only looked at the "plot what plot" tag at some points (iykyk).

the plot was still good, gwyn is my new bitch, loved the ending, eris is my new morally grey boy of the month and that's about it. now give me an azriel book. bye.

reading this during the holiday season was the cherry on top of the cake. this book was like a warm hug. it gave slice of life type of vibes and since i love these characters so much i couldn't have been happier.

also the nesta and cassian moments are giving me that angst that i love and i can't wait to read more. elain and azriel are just so special.

alsoo, i have a friend that was mad when she finished this bc she wanted more povs from feyre and i was like "i want to read nesta's pov now, chill", although that's still true, having just finished the book i'm happy and mad bc goddammit i don't want to let feyre's pov go.

i knew the big spoilers. i did.
did i cry like a baby in the end nonetheless? heck yeah.

sjm really brought the big guns in terms of plot twists. i'm way too attached to these characters to the point it's not even funny. my favorite character is cassian but nesta really is that bamf.

i'm sorry for the horrible review. the woman was too stunned to speak. acomaf is still the superior one but this one was very good too.
