Chosen by a Vampire by Wynta Tyme

The writing style is just not mature or well developed. Example: a vampire from New Orleans in 1850 would not respond to some using the word “Cool” or “tell me what’s up”. Take the smut out and portray the adults as students and this will easily be a children’s book. Good storyline underdeveloped storytelling!

I almost DNFd this because of Malik ignorant a** and Mo’s low self-esteem was almost unbearable. Other than that. Loved by A Certified Maniac was a decent read and happy ending for the two dynamic Duo’s.

Cuffed by A Certified Maniac will have you hooked from the very beginning. Jaseson is most certainly is a certified maniac and is the definition of anyone can get it; on sight. I loved the fact that he chose to go to therapy and tried to apply the coping skills his therapist suggested throughout his madness. I appreciate the author touching on black men mental health and them seeking therapy. Bebe is a down ass boss chick and loyal to the ones she love. Jay may be a fool but Breonna is most definitely not to be f*cked with. BeBe, Jay and Amir are funny at. They had me laughing out loud throughout this entire action packed rom-com.

Have you ever been loved by a thug!?!  When a Gangsta Wants You gives everything it needs to give! Romance, Thriller, Crime, Smut and Betrayal. It’s a messy, chaotic,  beautiful love story.

The before, the after, before the before and so on nonsense of a timeline was confusing and unnecessary. Had this story been told from Monday’s perspective, it would have made for a better read. I really wanted to love this book but…in the manner in which it is written,it’s a no for me. A heartbreaking story about a beautiful friendship that fell flat.
