A really fun claustrophobic adventure.

Not a bad novel.  It's a classic style ghost story.  Well written, atmospheric.

Not my style, but it'd make a good slasher movie.  Struggled to find the rhythm or voice.

I wanted to like this more since I heard so much about it,  but I can't get it quite to 4 stars. I didn't dislike it....The story was good at first, but then it started to reduce itself into a "been done before" tricky evil demon story. It had me... until then, when it became predictable.
Also, where did Hector even come from? Introducing a new character at the End?
Characters weren't really relatable, though Josef's story had my attention.  I think I would have liked this better with more Josef and no Robert. There were a few creepy scenes that were incredibly well written and the gore was ok and fit the narrative. Writing was repetitive at times, over explaining.

Probably one of the most digestible and relatable books on the subject of parenting children who struggle with learning emotional regulation.  I recommend it often in my practice working with families as well as with the children in my personal life.  5 stars!

This was not what I expected! I loved the turn it took and would love the story to continue.

The intense feeling of dread that hooked me from the beginning and only grew stronger after finishing.  So well written, dark,  atmospheric, and gruesome.   Loved it.

I knew this would be dark and fairly creepy after reading Circus Tent and taking one look at the cover.  I've never been afraid of Puppets but this story was pretty terrifying all the same.  Highly recommend.

Creepy.  Several scenes were top notch horror in the style of The Ring or Babadook if I were to compare it to a film.  Creature description was terrifying.

Fun read! I did not see that ending coming.
