I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I love women's wrongs.

This book was done so well. The opening?? The ending?? Amazing.

Definitely check the content notes before starting this one!

What to expect: dash of forbidden romance (divorce attorney/client), pregnancy story line

From book one I was curious about Ainsley and I was glad we got to see more of her. The opening of the book is a blast, and I was cackling at the situation. Nicole does a fantastic job with humor throughout the book.

One of my favorite parts was how much of a badass Ainsley was, after not the best luck, she finally takes her life into her own hands and kicks ass.

The romance with Ken was spicyyy and romantic, and I was happy to see Ainsley get the happy ending she deserved!

I really enjoyed this one! The audio was fantastic and the story really sucks you in. I loved the paranormal aspect and I learned a lout about Latinx culture. I absolutely loved the rep in the book and Yadriel's journey to become himself and show others who he is too.

I definitely didn’t cry reading a book about shop cats in New York City…

I also definitely didn’t cry when I realized this book was published in 2016 and that some of these cats might no longer be around…

What to expect: dragons, sisters, BIPOC leads, queer leads (sapphic & demi), PTSD

One thing I loved about this one was that it takes place AFTER a war-I'm always wondering how characters are doing after so it was cool to see that here.

I love all the representation in the book, and the sisters?! Ugh love

Overall, a great YA fantasy and I'll be looking out for the second one!

What to expect: bisexual MMC, writer FMC, age gap (he's older), brother's best friend, forced proximity, roommates, no third act break up

Really enjoyed this one!! I loved the buildup and the tension, all for a GREAT pay off! Seeing these characters also deal with personal problems while falling in love was really nice, and I loved them support one another!
