What to expect: spa, firefighter, trapped

This is the best audio so far. Since she's trapped in the chamber everyone else's voices sound muffled and I thought it was so cool. I loved the sister relationship and all the sayings/sister things they had.

The meet-cute was hilarious and I loved Leo

What to expect: short story, pen pals (kind of), dog, grief/death of family members

This one had similar vibes to the first in this series, but was sadder and not as intriguing as the first one. The ending wasn't very satisfying and I was a little bummed overall.

I did enjoy the characters, and the meet cute was funny

What to expect: short story, you've got mail vibes, emails, spans years

If you like email exchanges in your stories this one is perfect for you! It was a clever way to build such a short story and the humor was top notch. The ending was a good pace and I loved it for what it was

What to expect:  Fake Dating, Forced Proximity, Workplace Romance

Kayla reads 2 light omegaverse books in January was not on my bingo board for 2024

I really enjoyed this story, the fake dating, and the characters. The omegaverse stuff was all explained well but I couldn't stop giggling cause I could only think of doggos not like big scary dogs and there was point where they were in wolf form and I'm just not built for this (yet)

What to expect: Forced Proximity, Workplace Romance, Single Parent

This one was a fun read! I love how there was an added mystery to the story. The family dynamics were great and the romance was so sweet. I loved seeing older MC's and one with kid too!

I love the way Elizabeth does important topics in the historical romance setting that aren't usually there!!

What to expect: autism rep, coming of age

Y'all teenagers are so messy I love it. I loved following along as Jessie navigated her new autism diagnosis and starting high school at the same time. The drama was so perfectly high school and I'm so glad I'm not a teenager anymore.

This would def be a book I would recommended to 15/16 year olds!

Thank you PRH audio for the advanced listening copy!

What to expect: paranormal romance (werewolf shifter/vampire), marriage of convenience, forced proximity, mystery

I think I prefer Ali as a paranormal writer !!!

I loved the mystery storyline and not once did I have a guess where it was going. The romance on the other hand, was easily predictable as it should be, and that didn't stop it from making me kick my feet and double check my headphones to make sure no one could hear me.

What to expect: hockey, nanny, forced proximity, fat rep, check content notes

I really wanted to like this one, but it was trying to do much in a short time.

There was no emotional connection between the two leads, and they were purely motivated by sex.

The sex scenes were uncomfortable and sloppy. There was phrasing I never wanted to read, and now I’ll never be unable to read it.

There were heavy topics that weren’t given the justice they deserve and felt like they were only there to check boxes.

Spice: 4, emotional connection sacrificed for smut scenes

Reread this one because a friend was reading it.

I love the unreliable narrator, paranormal aspects, and overall chaos of this story.

What to expect: Friends to Lovers, Second Chance, Time Travel (a la 13 Going on 30)

This one was so cool! I'm such a sucker for time travel/time loop type stories and this one did not disappoint. I thought the balance of before the jump/after the jump was done really well. I also understand the cover now lol

Getting to see Nolan's growth throughout the story was amazing, and I loved that he wanted to do things to fix his life.

The romance was sweet and the friends to lovers was done well. I was giddy reading about them!
