Wow. NEVER have I been a Sci-fi girl before, but hot DANG did S.A. Barnes make me a fan of THIS. It gave me EVERYTHING I loved about two of some of my favorite video games I’ve gotten to play within the last five years (Dead Space and Man of Medan) while STILL managing to give me surprises, thrills, chills and a “will they won’t they” romance in between 🤘🏻 Dead Silence rocked and I can’t wait to read Ghost Station. (Also, the audio???? KILLER. SO GOOD. The drama was 👌🏻)

This book was the absolute cozy “love is real” pallet cleanser I needed after several dense and dark horror books. I definitely think this series is going to be my new go to comfort read 🥹💚

Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.
Plan to come back to this. Life got too crazy and I haven’t been in the right headspace to go back to it.

Not my cup of tea, but it was fun so long as you didn’t think about anything critically or logically for too long 😅

Loved My Heart is a Chainsaw, this one not so much. It had its moments but it definitely felt like a filler book for me. I think part of that had to do with the cast being too large and the focus being driven in too many directions. I am really excited for the Angel of Indian Lake but this one was kind of a slog to get through for me. But at least it was a full narration cast! That was nice!! Also SGJ’s afterward did have me bawling 🥲♥️

My god… when I signed up for this book I didn’t quite know what to expect other than a haunting Italian vacation. What I got instead was an incredible thought provoking journey of agency and what it’s like being an “unlikeable” woman. This book was impeccable the entire time and great for fans of “good for her” horror.

If I could give this book some vibe siblings I’d go with Black Christmas (74), Sara Gran’s Come Closer, and Rachel Harrison’s Black Sheep
