Wow. What a read. Douglas Stuart is a genius. This read is a rollercoaster of emotions that ultimately leaves you bonded with the meticulously crafted spirits of the characters. I am in awe. I am grateful. I love reading and this book is a sublime example of great literature

Really sad that this wasn’t a good read. Writing was okay but after reading so many chapters I couldn’t connect or feel emotionally invested in any of the characters. The development was poor. The story was bland.
