When Tea accidentally raises her solider brother from the dead she finds out she’s a “bone witch” or “dark asha”. Mentored by a fellow dark asha she learns the ways of asha and magic welding. There was a lot of world building, which caused the story to drag at times. I am however, intrigued enough to continue on to the second book which I’m hoping has a faster paced plot.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ Being a member of the dead moms club isn’t easy and even though my relationship with my mom was totally different from Tyler’s I could still relate to her grieving process. My moms deathaversary and her b day are especially hard for me. Also learned stuff about Jewish culture that I didn’t know. Excellent read
