This book does give some Hill House vibes and is very similar in the way that the main character’s own loneliness drives her to interact with the house. There were parts of it that felt forced, especially in the final act. At times the writing style was overly complex to the point of being confusing and distracting.

A good refresher on the basic tenets of Christian faith and devotion. Quite slow for my tastes and not focused as much as I would like on how to practice devotion in daily life. Or how to actually pursue the Christian life.
